First Jelly coworking week

In freelancers’ world, more connections means more business. That is why from 23rd till 27th of May we organized Jelly coworking week, better known as open days, at our coworking Bridge85. We invited all freelancers from Goriška region and some from the other side of the border and from 8 am till 4 pm we worked together, drank coffee, got to know each other and build together.

Joining us through the whole week were around 25 different participants that wanted to test the concept of working in a coworking space.

In the afternoons we had three events that offered numerous networking opportunities. On Tuesday we organized Startup Consulting Day, where we invited young startup teams incubated in Primorska technology park and on the other side 5 experienced entrepreneurs, that voluntarily gave counseling to young teams.

On Wednesday we organized round table on the topic, how to get a job, without being employed. Our guests were Eva Kljun, vlogger known as Marija ZmostaAna Cukijati, journalist from her own company Aniki s.p., Petra Doljak, I{us}, Inštitut za urbane spremembe and Marko Vojvodić, from creative agency Akeo Lab.

On Thursday we had our monthly evening networking event called Business Meetups Nova Gorica, where we invited Tomaž Zaman, ex-freelancer and co-founder of Codeable. Having an international team and a successful company, our guest told us how to manage work-life balance, remote team meetings and overall gave us some of the best what-not-to-do-as-a-freelancer advice.
